Now we can get down to the step-by-step process:
Click on "+" icon to start creating your new image.
In the pop up modal choose the source you'd like to use for creating your new image template.
Then select the option to upload an image from the feed (1.) and select it in the mod that pops up on the screen.
Click in the edit area (2.) to activate image template editing. Make any adjustments. If you want to change the image from the feed, select another (3.).
Of course, you can also upload your own image. When selecting files, you can tag multiple files at once and upload them in bulk.
By switching between the Design mode and Live preview buttons, you can watch your edits immediately. And that on the live preview of the selected image.
You can freely edit the image from the feed after loading using the menu on the right.
Adjust the size of your image template (1.), choose the position that the template will occupy within the banner (2.). Need to rewind your image template? Use the Flip and Rotate setting (3.).
For the Image (4.) option, you can change the variant of the product photo from the feed.
The Remove White Background function (5.) ensures that your image templates can be edited seamlessly. Remove the original background of the image and work only with the product itself.
Want to completely change the background of your image template? In the settings tab, you can freely select from the entire color palette.
You can crop the background of your image template by Trim image button (6.) and set the fit mode (7.). Use the Alignment (8.) function to select the position in which your product images will appear.
You can also use the function to filter products (9.) and time restrictions (10.) We will get to these functions later.
In addition to the image from the feed, you can add other elements to the image template to create additional layers to enrich the image template. You can insert your own uploaded images, text, and other shapes, such as a rectangle or circle.
As with the image, these elements of the Image editor offer a wide range of customization options. Let's show them on the example of the text.
For better clarity, first name your text (1.), choose the size of your inscription (2.), its position (3.) and the angle of rotation (4.).
Enter the desired text (5.) and select the font (6.). In addition to the default fonts, Image editor allows you to upload your own font (7.), so you won't have any problems following your brand manual. Choose the font size, color and style. Here you can also edit the strikethrough/underline to your liking (8.).
Set how the Image editor works with long texts (9.),
how it aligns the text (10.) and text padding (11.). You can also set the rounding of text box (12.).
Choose the option to fill in the text field (13.) and the border (14.). As with the image layer, you can also filter the products for which this layer is to be displayed (15.) and set time restrictions (16.).
Do you want to apply each image template layer to specific products only? Use the option to filter products. Set conditions to choose which layers to display and for which products.
You can also select a specific time for specific layers, when they will be generated. This is done by setting time restrictions. This makes it easy to specify the period for which the layer you selected should appear. The layer will then appear in your campaigns only for the time period you set. You will certainly appreciate this option, for example, during specific business seasons, such as Christmas, Black Friday, sales, etc.
Layers
In the Layers tab, you will find a summary of all the layers applied to your image template.
You can lock (1.), hide (2.), duplicate (3.), or delete individual layers (4.). You can also slide to change their order (5.)
You can check your new image template by Preview mode.
If you are satisfied with the preview, you can save your image template.
The newly created image template will then be shown to you in the original data source. Then just use it in your campaign.
