Data enrichment

Match rate

The Match Rate feature in Dotidot provides an overview of how many products have been correctly matched during the Data Enrichment process. This feature helps ensure data accuracy and allows users to detect and fix any mismatched products by adjusting the source mapping.

How Match Rate Works

During data enrichment, Dotidot analyzes your product information and compares it against external data sources. Match Rate represents the percentage of products that have been successfully matched to corresponding records in these sources.

For example, if you have 5,000 products and 4,500 of them are correctly matched, your Match Rate will be 90%.

Why Match Rate Matters

A high Match Rate indicates that most of your products have been mapped accurately, leading to:

  • Better campaign optimization – Accurate data ensures that your marketing campaigns target the right products.
  • Fewer errors – Minimizing mismatches or missing products improves overall data quality.
  • Efficient data management – Identifying and correcting mismatches makes product data maintenance easier.

How to Improve Your Match Rate

If your Match Rate is lower than expected, here are some steps you can take:

  1. Check source mapping – Ensure that your products are correctly mapped to external sources. Incorrect or incomplete mapping can lead to a lower Match Rate.
  2. Refine product data fields – Verify that your product data includes all necessary attributes for successful matching.
  3. Reach out to support – If you need help optimizing your Match Rate, our support team is available to assist you.

By regularly monitoring and improving your Match Rate, you can maintain high-quality product data, ultimately enhancing the performance of your marketing efforts.
